Fresh off a historic win leading the Milwaukee Bucks to their first championship in half a century, Giannis Antetokounmpo is flying high.
Scoring a total of 50 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks as their superstar forward, Antetokounmpo β who lovingly earned the nickname “Greek Freak” β gave a legendary performance Tuesday night that, up until now, only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson had ever done.
But it was a two-year-old Kobe Bryant prophecy that has the internet going wild.
In a June 2019 tweet, the late Bryant predicted that Antetokounmpo would not only earn another MVP title but was destined for a championship in no time.
“My manβ¦.M.V.P. Greatness. ππΎπͺπΎ Next up: Championship. #MambaMentality,” Bryant wrote on Twitter.
The Bucks ultimately beat the Phoenix Suns 105-98 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
And the Greek-born athlete has a sweet pad to celebrate in.
Located in the upscale River Hills, Wisconsin, neighborhood, the home has six bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, spanning a massive 9,900 square feet.
Antetokounmpo, 26, first bought the property in 2018 for $1.8 million β two years after signing a four-year $100 million extension with the Bucks in 2016.
Pegged as “luxury living,” the home features expansive rooms with an open-concept kitchen and a family room that leads to the backyard, according to the listing.
On the main level is a vaulted ceiling sunroom that boasts a two-way fireplace. The primary suite features two large walk-in closets, an expansive spa bath with a walk-in shower and a separate tub.
