Heavy rain expected in many districts of Bihar including Patna today, Yellow alert issued for 3 days

In the districts of North Bihar, the activities of thunder and lightning will be more than that of South Bihar. Along with this, light to moderate rains will continue over the entire state including South Bihar. Light to moderate rain has also been forecast in Patna.

Due to the activation of the Monsoon in Bihar, the situation of rain continues even now. Presently, the Monsoon Trough is passing through Gaya and an Area of ??Cyclonic Circulation has formed towards Assam. Another cyclonic circulation is forming towards Northwest Uttar Pradesh.

Due to this, the rain system is still active in the state. On the basis of these weather systems, it has been estimated by the Meteorological Department that in the next 24 hours, there may be heavy rain at one or two places in North West Bihar.

Here, on Monday, the weather remained clear in many districts of central Bihar including Patna, Gaya. The day was sunny and the temperature rose. It rained heavily in Muzaffarpur.

About 35 mm of rain was recorded here. Rainfall conditions were negligible in Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Purnia. Heavy rains have been recorded at some places in North Bihar in the last 24 hours. Of these, Bahadurganj received 120 mm of rain, Bhimnagar and Dhengbridge 90 mm, Patna 80 mm, Jehanabad 70 mm while Ghosi and Goraul received 60 mm.

According to meteorologists, due to the active rain system, rain conditions will be seen in the state. There is a yellow alert for most districts for the next three days.

In Patna, the mercury rose due to sunshine during the day. The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.2 degrees Celsius, Gaya 34.3, Bhagalpur 33.9 while Purnia recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius. It was hot during the day with no rain.

The sky was partly cloudy but there was no drizzle anywhere. Light to moderate rain has also been predicted in Patna on Tuesday. The sky will remain partly cloudy. The sun will come out but due to the increased humidity, it will be sweaty heat.
