ACC shares up 4.95% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ltd. traded 4.95 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 10:51AM (IST). Around 154,473 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 2225.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 2299.05 and Rs 2191.9, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of ACC Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 2299.05 and a 52-week low of Rs 1289.7.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the ACC Ltd. stood at Rs 42193.92 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 3930.49 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, down 9.35 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4335.94 crore and down 48.12 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2653.52 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 569.42 crore, up 110.18 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Jun-2021, DIIs held 8.46 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 13.57 per cent and the promoters 50.05 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 21.44 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.4. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
