‘Pegasus Gate’: MP CM slams Indira, Sonia and Rahul

Bhopal, July 20 (UNI) The Pegasus issue continued to snowball into a titanic controversy on Tuesday with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan returning fire at the Congress by accusing that party of attempting to rake up the espionage-related matter over a foundation of falsehood.

“It is nothing barring a conspiracy to bring disrepute to Indian democracy. After all, the Congress has a history of spying – its earlier and contemporary bigwigs have spied on their own rank and file. (Erstwhile premier) Mrs Indira Gandhi, Mrs Sonia, Mr Rahul and Mrs Priyanka did so in order to ‘tackle’ others,” the senior politician alleged at his residence during an interaction with members of the Fourth Estate.
