Mumbai: Dawood Ibrahim's aide Yusuf Bachkana arrested in extortion case

MUMBAI: Once the right-hand man to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, Yusuf Bachkana was arrested by Mumbai's anti-extortion cell on Tuesday.
Later in the day, he was produced in court in connection to an extortion case. He also has a murder plaint to his name.
Yusuf Suleiman Kadri alias Yusuf Bachkana has been serving a life sentence in Karnataka's Belagavi since 2004 after he was convicted in the murder of a builder in the state named Subba Rao.
Bachkana has also worked closely with notorious gangster Ravi Pujari who is currently in the custody of the Gujarat Police.
