Covington police: Fatal crash closes Ky. 17 south of I-275

Ky. 17 will be closed in both directions for several hours Monday night following a fatal crash on Ky. 17 in Covington, police said.
The crash was in front of Pioneer Park, according to a Covington Police Department Release The park is in Covington in the 3900 block of Madison Pike (Ky. 17) in an area south of I-275.
Police advised drivers to find an alternate route. The investigation is ongoing, and the identities of people involved in the crash will not be released at this time, police said.
An accident reconstruction team is investigating.
