Reliance Infra raises Rs550.56cr through preferential allotment of warrants

Post allotment of 8.88cr warrants, the holding of the promoter group in Reliance Infra would increase to 22.06% upon full conversion of warrants.

Reliance Infrastructure Limited (Reliance Infra) has raised Rs550.56cr on Monday through allotment of 8.88 crore warrants convertible into an equivalent number of equity shares of the company to Risee Infinity Private Limited, a promoter group company, and VFSI Holdings Pte. Limited, an affiliate of Varde Investment Partners, LP, after the approval from members, through Postal Ballot.

Post allotment, the holding of the promoter group in Reliance Infra would increase to 22.06% upon full conversion of warrants, the company said in a filing on Monday.

At arounf 11.20 AM, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. was trading at Rs76.80 per piece down by Rs2.15 or 2.72% from its previous closing of Rs78.95 per piece on the BSE.
