NEW DELHI: Kriti Sanon had recently shared her transformation journey for her upcoming film, ‘Mimi’ where she had to put on weight for her role of a surrogate mother. The actress now reveals how she could not shoot for any other project for some months due to this. Talking about setting aside a chunk of some months for the shoot of ‘Mimi’, Kriti shares, “I had to put on 15kgs in 2 months for Mimi which I could start losing only once I had completed the film. It made more sense to not take up any other project during the shoot and even till a few months after as I needed to lose the weight before starting any other project. I did let go of a lot of award show performances too in that period because dancing makes me lose weight very fast.”

She will be carrying this content-driven film on her own shoulders as she is all set to deliver probably one of her best performances so far playing a mature role of a mother for the first time. She will also be seen in ‘Adipurush’ as Sita, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Ganapath’, ‘Hum Do Hamaare Do’ along with another unannounced project.

NEW DELHI : Randeep Hooda, on Tuesday, penned a heartfelt note to wish the legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah happy birthday. Naseer celebrated his 71st birthday yesterday. Randeep says Naseer has inspired several generations of actors to dream big.

Taking to Instagram, Randeep shared a still from his movie ‘John Day’ featuring him with the veteran actor and captioned it as, “I don’t know where I would have been in my journey had I not met you @naseeruddin49 bhai .. I still aspire for that rare pat on the back 20 years hence.. of all one feels, the feeling of gratitude remains the most overwhelming.. Hoping and praying for many more birthdays to come.”

For the unversed, Randeep made his acting debut with Mira Nair’s ‘Monsoon Wedding’, which also starred Naseer in a pivotal role. Besides this, the powerhouse stars have worked together in ‘The Coffin Maker’, and ‘John Day’.

On the work front, Randeep was last seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ that starred Salman Khan and Disha Patani in lead roles. Next, he will be seen in ‘Rat On A Highway’ directed by Vivek Chouhan, ‘Mard’ directed by Sai Kabir, and ‘Unfair And Lovely’ where he will be seen alongside Ileana D’Cruz.

Currently, he is shooting for ‘Inspector Avinash’ which will mark his web series debut.

The National Award-winning actor Naseer was last seen in the film ‘Mee Raqsam’. He was also a part of the hit web series ‘Bandish Bandits’, where Naseer played the role of a classical musician. Movie buffs will now get to see him sharing screen space with actor Rasika Duggal in a short film.

She took to Instagram to make the announcement, “I’m super excited to launch ‘Care Package’ — An Audio-First Festival that Cares. This package, curated by me, is a box full of conversations and performances from thought leaders around the world that prioritise ‘Care’. Join me today, 20th July, from 7 PM-8.30 pm at Clubhouse.”

The festival will revolve around three themes that the speakers will be discussing with the audience. The first one will be ‘My Relationship with Self-care,’ with speakers being Deepika along with Aarthi Ramamurthy, Raghava KK and Sriram Krishnan. The second will be ‘Breathe, by The Artidote,’ by JovvaFerreyera, while the last one will be ‘Love and Care – How is it different’ by DeepikaPadukone, Jay Shetty, RadhiDevlukia, Sriram Krishnan and Aarthi Ramamurthy.

WASHINGTON: Seems like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are looking forward to settling down soon, as the couple was clicked while hunting for a house along with the singer’s kids. Just like a couple of days ago, the duo was photographed together while house hunting. Ben was in the driver’s seat and Jen was mapping things out on her phone, navigating him through Santa Monica’s busy streets, not too far from where Ben currently stays in the Pacific Palisades. Recently, Jen’s 13-year-old twins Max and Emme joined her and Ben while the two were house hunting in Santa Monica. It was reported earlier by this year that Jen is looking to relocated from Miami to Los Angeles, where the 48-year-old actor currently resides. A source previously told TMZ that while the two have been seen looking for houses together, they do not yet have plans to move in together just yet—and that Affleck is just lending a helping hand, but now things look a little different. According to Fox News, among the properties, the two hunted was a Beverly Park mansion listed for $63.95 million. The over-31,000 square-foot home sits on a 1.4-acre plot on Billionaire’s Row.

MUMBAI : Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are all set to embrace parenthood once again. On Sunday, the two took to their respective Instagram handles and announced that they are expecting their second child. Along with it, they shared a family picture, wherein Neha can be seen flaunting her baby bump. Angad and his daughter Mehr are also featured in the image. “New home production coming soon. Waheguru mehr kare,” Angad captioned the post. Neha revealed that they did a lot of brainstorming on how to announce the news of her pregnancy on social media. “Took us 2 days to come with a caption. The best one we could think of was.. Thank you, God,” Neha wrote on her Instagram account. Neha and Angad got married in May 2018. They welcomed their daughter Mehr just a few months later.
