Arbaaz Khan is going to be back with the second season of his show ‘QuickHeal Pinch with Arbaaz Khan’ .The first season of the show received good response from the audience and he is all set to start the second season with Salman Khan. The actor spoke to News Helpline about the show and much more.
Talking about the first episode of Season 2, he said, “Our first episode of season two is with Salman Khan. He was not there in Season 1 so many people had questions regarding that. We had our own reasons for not having him in Season 1 and we wanted to start the season 2 with him.”
Sharing his experience of interviewing Salman, he said, “It was a first time experience for me as well because I had never interviewed him before. We have done films together. Most of the time, he is the host. I have just started hosting so to get him on the show was a big thing. I wanted him to get convinced before he comes. Therefore, he saw the first season, he liked the episodes and eventually he was happy to come as a guest on the show.”
When asked what process the team used to filter the guests for both the seasons, he said,”In our film industry, every star is popular. Therefore, we did not have any filtration process as such. We wanted to bring relevant and good stars who connect with the audience. We had a good line up of stars in season 1 and season 2 also has a very good line up of celebs.
Our focus was to make the show bigger and better in terms of concept and questions that we ask. All our stars are good. We always ask questions that are relevant and the stars are comfortable to answer.”
Talking about the difficulties the team faced while shooting season 2 during covid, he said,”Season 1 was loved by the audience so it had set up the bar really high for us. We had to add freshness to the second season. The team made sure that the questions are not repetitive. Audience gets to see something new.
It was difficult to shoot during Covid because to get the dates of the star was a big task. We started shooting for the season in February when the restrictions were relaxed and by March end we finished shooting with 10 celebs.
He further added,”I had to convince the stars that we will not embarrass them on our show. There will be no controversial questions. I did not want controversy to be a contributor to the success of my show.” Pinch 2 includes guests like Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday, Farhan Akhtar, Farah Khan, Tiger Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Jacqueline Fernandes.
