TN 12th Result 2021 Live: Tamil Nadu TNDGE +2 results will be released soon at tnresults.nic.in

The directorate of government examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has announced that this year, TN HSE Plus Two subject marks will have two decimal points to break the tie in ranking for engineering and arts and science seats.

The state government cancelled the Tamil Nadu Class XII board exams due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Later, an expert committee was formed that suggested awarding marks based on Class X and XI board exams and Class XII practical exams and internal assessment.

As per the Class 12 evaluation criteria released by the Tamil Nadu board, the Class X board exams would carry 50% weightage while Class XI marks would carry 20% weightage and Class XII internal assessment and practical exams would carry 30% weightage.

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) will declare the Class XII results for eight lakh students studying in state board at 11 am on Monday. Students can know their results by registering their date of birth and roll number on the following websites: www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in, www.dge2.tn.nic.in, www.dge.tn.gov.in. Students will also receive their marks through SMS to their registered mobile numbers. They can also download their marksheets from the websites www.dge.tn.gov.in and www.dge.tn.nic.in from 11am on July 22. They have to register their date of birth and roll number to download their marksheets.

Over 8.5 lakh Class 12 students studying in Tamil Nadu state board schools will be able to check their board exam results today through the official website of the board - tnresults.nic.in.
