BJP led government in Tripura will soon initiate expansion and reshuffle of the council of ministers.

Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb is in New Delhi and he met BJP national president J.P. Nadda, National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh and discussed the organisational matters.

Deb on Sunday tweeted, “During my visit to New Delhi,called on @bjp4india President, Shri @jpnadda ji today. Informed him about the committed efforts being made by the State Govt. for welfare of the people of #Tripura & also held extensive deliberations on various organizational matters of the party”.

Health and Information Technology Minister Sudip Roy Barman was sacked in 2019

A group of MLA led by Barman had last year moved BJP leadership complaining about the style of functioning of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
