Man due in NSW court over Qld unit body
A man is facing extradition from NSW to Queensland after detectives found a body in a box in a Brisbane apartment.
Detectives raided the unit on Parkside Court in Hamilton, in Brisbane's inner north, on Monday afternoon.
They found a body in a box but police were unable to confirm its gender or age.
Neighbours in the apartment complex reportedly told police a man and a woman lived in the unit where the body was found.
Investigations are ongoing but police have tracked down a 26-year-old man linked to the apartment in southern Sydney.
The man is due to face an extradition hearing in Sutherland Magistrates Court in Sydney on Tuesday morning.
