
How to Check Tamil Nadu (TN) 12th +2 Result 2021 Online: The Directorate of Government Examinations has announced that the results of Tamil Nadu Class 12 students today.
The TN class 12 exams like other boards were canceled earlier due to COVID 19 second wave. It wsa earlier scheduled to be held June 5 onwards. Approximately 8 lakh students from the state are waiting for their Tamil Nadu HSE Plus Two Result.
The Board this year saw 100 per cent pass percentage. The number of girls passing the TN 2 2021 is higher than that of boys who have cleared the exams this year. A total of 4,35,973 girls cleared TN HSC while and 3,80,500 boys qualified in the alternative marking scheme.
Only 1,656 students who did not attend the classes have been marked absent. This year saw a record jump in students scoring marks between 551-600. Over 30,600 students scored from 551 to 600 marks in the science stream compared to 1,867 students in the previous year. In the commerce stream, 8,909 students scored in the same range compared to 4,437 students. In vocational group, 136 above 551 marks. However non, scored a perfect 600 this year.
The private students were not promoted using the alternative marking scheme and have to take exams in September or October as the coronavirus situation gets better.
Where can I check my results?
A notification from the Directorate of Government Examination on Friday said that the statement of marks could be viewed on three websites i.e. www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge1.tn.nic.in, www.dge2.tn.nic.in and www.dge.tn.gov.in.
The Directorate further said that students can download their mark sheets from July 22, 11 am onwards at www.dge.tn.gov.in and www.dge.tn.nic.in.
How the students will be evaluated by TN Board
According to TN Board’s policy, this year, the marks will be evaluated by taking 50% weightage of Class 10 marks, 20% weightage of Plus One, and 30% to Class 12 practical and internal assessments to come to the final score.
Students who are not satisfied with the gradation can appear for a special examination, dates of which will be announced later as soon as the situation improves. The board will treat student’s performance in the special exam as final.

As many as 33,557 students who had arrears in Class XI were also promoted due to Covid-19. No one scored a perfect 600 this year with the concurrent evaluation pattern. Overall, 39,679 students got a score between 551-600 and 1,67,133 students achieved a score in the 501-550 marks bracket. As many as 2,22,522 students scored between 451-500 marks.
The TN HSC result 2021 recorded a record 100% pass percentage. In 2021, 8,18,129 students had registered for the TN HSC board exam. Of them, 1,656 students had been absent from the exams and 8,16,473 students passed. Students who didn’t attend the classes were considered as candidates who have not taken exams this year.
Log in to the websites. Click on the ‘download’ result link. Enter the registration number/ roll number. The result will appear on the screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has asked all colleges to commence UG admissions for 2021-22 on August 1 after the declaration of CBSE Class XII results.
Tamil Nadu govt will look at the Class XI maths, physics and fourth subject marks in addition to Class XII marks in maths, physics and fourth subjects, date of birth to break tie while ranking students. Moreover, Plus Two subject marks will consider upto two decimal points to break the tie in ranking for engineering and arts and science seats.
