Asserting that data collected so far has indicated that cases of deaths among those who have not received the Covid vaccination shot is higher than those who have received the vaccine, Director of Health Services Dr K Rajo backed this up with statistics.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, Dr Rajo said that 776 Covid deaths were reported from April to June this year and added that on analysing the data of 492 cases of the total figure, 410 persons (83.33 pc) were found to have not received the vaccination shot at all.
Another 28 persons (5.69 pc) were found to have received the first dose 14 days before they tested Covid positive and 19 (3.86 pc) of them tested positive within 14 days after taking the first dose, he added.
