The makers of Balika Vadhu 2 have released a new gripping trailer, which primarily focuses on young Anandi. Check out the video!
MUMBAI: Speak of the most loved television shows, and Balika Vadhu surely would top the list. The famous daily soap is slated to once again deal with the evils of child marriage, as it is returning to the screen with its second season. Several promos and teasers of the show have been released by the makers on social media platforms. And they have garnered much praise and attention from the viewers. As the release date of the show is inching closers, the makers have dropped a new trailer, which focuses on young Anandi.
Colors TV shared a gripping trailer on Instagram and wrote, “Baal Vivah ki iss kupratha ka abhishaap apni maa ki kokh mein hi jhelna pada nanhi si Anandi ko! Issi kupratha ko mitaane laut aayi hai ek nayi Balika Vadhu! #BalikaVadhu2, 9th August se Mon-Fri raat 8 baje se sirf #Colors par.”
The video starts with two men seen fixing the marriage of a baby girl just as she is born. The baby is then shown growing into a toddler as wedding discussions gains steam. The trailer also shows how young Anandi's fate is being decided by her family for child marriage.
The shooting of Balika Vadhu 2 began last month in Rajasthan. Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha fame Shreya Patel and Baal Veer actor Vansh Sayani will be seen playing the lead roles. Apart from them, Riddhi Nayak Shukla, Ketki Dave, Seema Mishra, Anshul Trivedi, Supriya Shukla are also part of the show. Balika Vadhu 2 will start airing on August 9, 2021.
