Airtel CEOs meet Seychelles president to discuss telecom prices and services

Airtel and the government of Seychelles will work on data pricing to make it more affordable for users, said Airtel Africa CEO Raghunath Mandava, according to Seychelles News Agency. Mandava and Airtel Seychelles' MD Amadou Dina have met President Wavel Ramkalawan in Victoria. Mandava said Seychelles is a small country far away from everywhere else, and as such, requires one of the longest cables in the world, which is unfortunately a very high-cost activity.
