Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 19 (UNI) As many as 9,931 persons were tested positive in Kerala on Monday while 13,206 patients have recovered from the disease, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.
In a statement, the CM said "89,654 samples were tested during the last 24 hours and the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) is 11.08 pc. A total of 2,54,31,248 samples have been sent for testing till this day."
Meanwhile, 58 more succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll in the state to 15,408.
Today, 205 Local Self Government areas were identified with TPR above 15 percent in the State.
In the last 24 hours, Covid was not detected in any person who recently came to Kerala from the UK. So far, 11 people who came from the UK were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus.
