328 kids get Rs 16.40 lakh under COVID-19 BSY in MP

Bhopal, July 19 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan electronically transferred a total Rs 16.40 lakh on Monday into the accounts of 328 beneficiaries under the COVID-19 Bal Seva Yojana, it was officially learnt.
“My dispensation will provide Rs 5,000 per month to minors affected by the demise either of parents or the earning member of the household; arrange for rations and bear the expenses of education anywhere in India,” the veteran leader underlined. He had online discussions with 13 children and parents of Indore, Rajgarh, Seoni, Betul, Mandsaur, Satna and Gwalior. The senior politician underlined that a guardian officer should be appointed in every district.

Under a sponsorship scheme, Rs 4.46 lakh were transferred to 223 individuals at Rs 2,000 per month.
