The South Central Railway (SCR) zone will be resuming unreserved train(spot ticket purchasing) services to benefit intra-state passengers from July 19. In an official statement, the SCR said the process of resuming unreserved trains was in line and will be done in a phased manner.

The South Central Railway (SCR) zone will be resuming unreserved train(spot ticket purchasing) services to benefit intra-state passengers from July 19. In an official statement, the SCR said the process of resuming unreserved trains was in line and will be done in a phased manner.

With Unreserved trains back on track, now the passengers can purchase their tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines, booking counters at the stations and Coin Ticket Vending Machines and others.

These unreserved trains will be operated on par with reserved trains to cut down on travel time. The railways undertook major track strengthening works for the past one year, resulting in raising the maximum permissible speed for trains. Initially, SCR will resume 82 trains to operate across the entire network of SCR.

Gajanan Mallya, SCR General Manager, requested passengers to follow all the Covid safety protocols both at the stations and in the trains.


Some Express Trains to be resumed:

Sirpur -Kajipet (train no. 07259), Kajipet-sirpur (07272), Vijayawada-Gudur (07262),  Poorna- hyderabad (07654), Hyderabad-Poorna (07653), kakinada port-Visakha (07265), Visakhapatnam-Kakinada port (07266), kakinada port-Vijayawada (07264).

Falaknuma-Wadi(07752), Wadi-Kachedguga(07751), Secundrabad-Kalburgi(07760), Vijayawada-Dornakal(07756), Dornakal-Kajipet(07754), Guntakal-Raichur(07799), Kalburgi-Bidar(07762, 07764),  Bidar-Kalburgi(07761,07763),  Vijayawada-Machilipatnam(07769), Rajahmundry-Vijayawada(07767), Narsapur-Nidadhavolu(07772), Nidadhavolu-Narsapur(07771), Akola-Poorna(07774), Poorna-Akola(07773), Rotegao-Nandhed (07778), Nandhed-Rotegao(07777),  Macharla-Vijayawad(07782), Mahbubnagar-Kacheguda(07790), Kacheguda-Mahbubnagar(07789),  Nadikudi-Kacheguda (07792), Kacheguda-Nadikudi(07791),  Kacheguda-Karimnagar(07793).
