The import of textiles and apparel by the United States increased by 26.79 per cent to $41.689 billion in the first five months of 2021, compared to $32.881 billion in January-May 2020. With 28.19 per cent share, China was the largest supplier of textiles and clothing to the US during the five-month period, followed by Vietnam with 14.65 per cent share.
