They did well in the 1st ODI with a thumping win and with the ICC T20 World Cup qualifying round on the horizon, the aim is to build on it especially with two tough series coming against Australia and England at home. Tamim Iqbal will want his side playing the best cricket and get as many wins they can under their kitty.
Last time out, Liton Das and Afif Hossain rescued Bangladesh from a precarious position, with Das scoring his fourth ODI century, while Hossain scored a thrilling 45 to lead them to 276. Having failed to get going with the bat, Shakib Al Hasan picked up five wickets with the ball, also becoming Bangladesh’s highest wicket-taker in all three formats of the game to clinch a 155-run victory.
