Four motorcyclists were injured Sunday morning after a crash in Williamsburg Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP said William Whitworth, 48, Timothy Friemoth, 39, Michael Davis, 32, and Thomas Morris, 38, were traveling eastbound on State Route 32 around 11 a.m. Sunday.

When approaching Dela Palma Road, Morris and Friemoth started to slow down their vehicles for a traffic light. Davis was unable to slow down in time, causing a chain-like collision, OSHP said in a press release.

Davis was transported by UC Air Care to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the release. OSHP said that Davis was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Friemoth was also taken to UCMC with serious injuries. The other two motorcyclists were transported to Mount Orb Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, OSHP said.

OSHP said the crash is still under investigation.
