MUMBAI: Alpana Buch is currently seen as Leela Shah in Star Plus' show Anupamaa.
The show has been working wonders on small screens ever since the beginning.
Anupamaa focuses on the story of a woman named Anupamaa who is extremely caring, loving and responsible mother, wife, and daughter-in-law.
While Anupamaa's worth was never valued, things changed drastically after her husband's extramarital affair was exposed.
Alpana's character Leela has seen a lot of change. Earlier, she was shown as a typical mother-in-law who was extremely conservative and left no chance to taunt her daughter-in-law for everything.
While Leela troubled Anupamaa a lot, things have changed now and she treats Anupamaa as her daughter.
Fans are missing Leela and Anupamaa's typical saas-bahu equation.
Apart from being a terrific TV actor, Alpana also belongs to the theatre world.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Alpana shared her views on theatre and if she misses those days.
Alpana said, ''I definitely miss my theatre days and would love to perform once again. However, the theatres are closed due to the pandemic and it's really sad.''
Further when asked if she would take up theatre amid her show Anupamaa, ''It is not possible for me to take up full-fledged opportunities as I am committed to the show. However, I'll do small roles if I am offered.''
Well, we would definitely love to see Alpana doing plays soon!
