Mumbai reports more Covid-19 recoveries than new cases, 466 test positive
Active Covid-19 cases in Mumbai stand at 6,618.
MUMBAI: In a positive development, the maximum city reported more recoveries than new Covid-19 cases.
On Saturday, the city saw a spike of 466 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 7,30,707.
806 people were discharged during the day. Till date, 7,06,040 people have recovered from the virus.
However, 12 people succumbed to the virus, including five with co-morbidities.
The city's recovery rate stands at 97 per cent and doubling rate at 993 days.
Active Covid-19 cases stand at 6,618.
At present, 71 buildings are sealed, while six areas are active containment zones.
