Ramgarh, Jul 16 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that the state is well prepared to tackle the third wave of Coronavirus.
Talking to reporters at his ancestral village of Nemra located in Gola Block of this district he said before the end of the second wave the state had started preparations for the third wave as at many places facilities for the children have been put into place while in many districts the health department has also completed necessary preparations and arrangements.
However, the Chief Minister said that in which form or shape the third wave will strike is to be seen. Further, he said that as far as health facilities are concerned whatever will be required in the third phase will be fulfilled by the government as all the concerned departments are keeping an eye on the situation.
Despite admitting to the fact that there was a lack of resources in the state he pointed that Jharkhand had done a far better arrangement and planning to tackle the first and second waves of Coronavirus. He pointed that since there was not much knowledge available regarding the virus therefore there are also misconceptions and confusions prevailing among the people.
Hemant said that despite troubles in identifying the variant the state government has purchased a large number of testing machines which will be made operational soon and the overall testing capacity will be also increased in the state which will help to identify patients.
Earlier upon arrival at his ancestral village the district administration gave him a guard of honour during which Ramgarh DC Madhavi Mishra and SP Prabhat Kumar were present.
