A gas explosion at a Gold Coast coffee shop has injured three people, with two suffering significant burns.
A gas bottle is believed to have been the source of the explosion, in the cafe on Energy Circuit in Robina.
Paramedics were called to the cafe at about 12.15pm on Friday, and two people believed to be in their 20s have been taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Two of the three injured have significant burns to their faces, limbs and abdominal area, the Queensland Ambulance Service has told AAP.
Police are at the scene helping to evacuate the site.
