SOBHA at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.1%

SOBHA share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 679 (down 2.5%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 21,895 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are SOBHA (down 9.4%) and SYNGENE INTERNATIONAL (up 9.4%).

DHFL (down 10.0%) and CORPORATION BANK (down 3.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, SOBHA has moved up from Rs 235 to Rs 679, registering a gain of Rs 444 (up 179.65%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 13,780 to 21,895, registering a gain of 8,115 points (up 58.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were INTELLECT DESIGN (up 571.9%), HFCL (up 521.0%) and FIRSTSOURCE SOLUTIONS (up 414.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 53,291 . The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are SUN PHARMA (up 1.1%), ITC (up 1.1%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.0%). Other gainers include BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.0%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,962 . DIVIS LABORATORIES (up 2.6%) and SUN PHARMA (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 36,033 to 53,291, registering a gain of 17,258 points (up 47.5%).

SOBHA Financial Update...

SOBHA net profit down at Rs 179 million for the quarter ended March 2021, compared to a loss of Rs 216 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 19.1% to Rs 5.5 billion during the period as against Rs 6.8 billion in January-March 2020.

For the year ended March 2020, SOBHA reported 5.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.0 billion during FY19.

Revenue of the company grew 9.1% to Rs 38 billion during FY20.

The current Price to earnings ratio of SOBHA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 100.1x.
