Francis Ngajokpa lauds Nitin Gadkari for inaugurating Maram-Peren NH project

Manipur's former RD & PR Minister, Francis Ngajokpa expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari for inaugurating and laying foundation stone of the Maram-Peren National Highway project on July 12 at City Convention Centre in Imphal East.
The project includes: 2 laning with hard shoulders from Maram centre to Maram Duigan of Maram-Peren section of NH-129A (total length 22km,cost of project Rs.226 crore), 2 laning with hard shoulders from Maram Duigan to Willong Khullen of Maram-Peren section of NH-129 A (total length 18km, cost of project Rs 188 crore) and 2 laning with hard shoulders from Bendramai to Zuimi of Maram-Peren section of NH-129A (total length 18km, cost of project Rs.232 crore).
Francis Ngajokpa stated that Maram-Peren road development committee and the people of the area would remain ever grateful to the Union Minister and his team of retired/present officers of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and NHIDCL for the unthinkable development brought to the area.
He also expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Minister (works), Biswajit for their concern.
Francis Ngajokpa also recalled that Nitin Gadkari had been patient when he met the Union Minister at Road & Transport Ministry Bhawan in 2015 and heard his request to convert Maram-Peren road into National Highway connecting Manipur and Nagaland .
It may be mentioned that while laying the foundation stone on July 12 at City Convention Centre Imphal, Nitin Gadkari assured that money was not the problem while adding that the people on the ground should extend full cooperation to the executing agencies and complete the work on time without any disturbances.
