Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Wipro (Rs. 2131.61 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 1657.48 crore), Happiest Minds (Rs. 1371.85 crore), HDFC AMC (Rs. 1088.15 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1079.94 crore), DLF (Rs. 979.01 crore), Infosys (Rs. 977.53 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 876.38 crore), RIL (Rs. 857.45 crore) and Motilal Oswal (Rs. 854.13 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 0.8 points down at 15923.4, while BSE Sensex fell 18.79 points to 53140.06.

In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd. (up 3.26 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.99 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (up 2.02 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.79 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.50 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 3.34 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.88 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (down 1.65 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.64 per cent) and Infosys Ltd. (down 1.60 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
