The arrangements were carefully choreographed, as it was the first meeting with the karnataka cm after the cabinet rejig. The chief minister flew into delhi on friday from Bengaluru on a special commercial airline.

There was plenty to discuss- from reports of dissent against CM's Leadership, cabinet expansion, Developmental projects, to COVID measures. Amid a buzz of happenings around the Nation, this meeting was a highly anticipated one. 

But the cm denied his plan to discuss the cabinet composition with the PM. With the long list of issues to be raised, cm chose to discuss only the pending developmental issues and regarding irrigation of the state. 

The meeting was a short one of 20 minutes. There are hints of possible getting ahead with the State developmental projects of Bangalore Peripheral Ring Road, US Consulate, Mekedadu project, he added. 

The chief minister requested to allocate 6000 cr and declare the peripheral ring road as National Project. The meeting comes on the tail end of the Chief minster's first meet, had only issues which are less concerned. 

Some disgruntled leaders demand the replacement of the cm citing his age and the need for a new face before the 2023 polls. Amid a swirl of rumors, will CM's visit change the decision of leadership?
