Kolhapur, Jul 15 (UNI) Central health team directed district administration and health department to take speedy vaccination compaign in the district to check rapidly increased Corona pandemic in the district.
In a review meeting, which was held at Shahu hall in district collector office this evening with top officers of the district administration and health department, central health team comprising Dr Pradeep Avate, who is state survey officers, Dr Pranil Kamble deputy director in health and family welfare directorate Pune and Dr Satyajeet Sahu, assistant professor in EMS hospital Nagpur, in the presence of newly appointed district collector Rahul Rekhavar and Kolhapur Muncipal corporation commissioner Ms Kandambari Balkvade.
Dr Avate directed to district administration and health department to take speedy vaccination compaign in the district to check ongoing Corona pandemic with giving priority to the peoples, who living in flood areas, with considering likely coming flood situation. He also directed to maintain crowd management in the district and classification in peoples vaccination.
Dr Avate said that with keep ready for coming third wave of Corona pandemic and prepared a list of employees and officers, who were working as front liner and who's payments were outstanding.
He expressed satisfaction for the vaccination compaign in the district, which became first in the state in vaccination. Kishor Pawar, addition collector, Bhausaheb Galande resident collector, Dr Anil Mali, district surgeon, Dr S S More, Dean, officers, employees were also present for the meeting.
