Morris Garage (MG) has been working on its 5- seater MG One SUV, before the official launch of the car in China, car details have been leaked on digital platforms. Let’s take a closer look at what MG motors would provide in its upcoming car.
Exterior

The photos which is been circulating on the social media platforms showed the MG One SUV with a blue paint job. In the photos it can be seen that the car looks aggressive from the front, it will come with a chrome MG signature on the black mated finish grills. The overall profile of the vehicle looks more like a crossover or a soft SUV. Leaked photos suggest that the car has primarily designed for typical urban customers only.
The customers can expect dual-tone color treatment in SUVs, considerable cladding with split-type 5-spoke dual-tone alloys. The company may provide the upcoming SUV with LED headlamps. Customers can expect LED indicators in ORB.

According to the reports, the MG One measures 4,579 mm in length, 1609 mm in height and 1,866 mm in width. Its wheelbase stands at 2,670 mm.
Power
Under the hood, the MG One SUV may come with a 4 cylinder 1.5L turbo petrol engine, which is expected produce 178 bhp of max power. Customers can expect peak torque around 250-260 Nm.
The SUV may come with a 6-speed MT and a dual-clutch automatic gearbox, a plug-in hybrid variant could also be introduced by MG in the future, but there are no official announcements yet.

Expected launch date
According to the media reports, the MG One SUV could debut at the start of 2021 or in mid-2021. As of now, the MG One seems to be a China-only product, however, it won’t be a surprise if MG plans to start selling it in other countries as well.
