A Pathankot resident has been arrested for allegedly possessing a sand boa.

The police said they got a tip-off that a man was trying to sell a snake for Rs15 lakh in Sector 23. Cops reached the spot and sent a decoy customer to strike a deal with the suspect, Ravi Kumar.

The police said the suspect agreed to sell the snake to the decoy customer after which they nabbed him. — TNS
