Model Elyse Knowles supports anti-lockdown video from struggling photographer who furiously claims the government is causing 'financial destitution' and 'destroying families'

Celebrities including Elyse Knowles, Samaire Armstrong and Amanda Micallef have showed their support for a Victorian photographer who has spoken out against the newest lockdown in the state.

Carlz J Söda, 35, shared an impassioned video to her Instagram on Friday, detailing her struggle to stay afloat financially as she's shut off from work in Melbourne.

As a sole trader, who is single, lives in regional Victoria, and works in the creative industry, she says she has been unable to access any support.

'We're not allowed to work, because we're not essential, so apparently my needing to feed myself in not essential, nor is me being able to put a roof over my head,' she said in the 15-minute video.

Söda went on to say that 'imbecilic politicians' were pushing people into 'financial destitution, making people have mental breakdowns, destroying families'.

'This is lockdown five in a so-called pandemic, where no one is in ICU, no one is actually sick. I am not saying there is not a virus. I am not saying there aren't people who are more susceptible to getting Covid' she added.

'I am saying these precautions these lockdowns, do not warrant the stress, the destruction, the anxiety, and the devastation that it is inflicting on 6.5 million people'.

Söda quickly gained support, with over one million views on the social media post and thousands of likeminded comments.
