New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday virtually inaugurated several projects in Gujarat and flagged off two new trains.
Mr Modi inaugurated the Aquatics and Robotics Gallery, and Nature Park in Gujarat Science City and flagged off new trains--Gandhinagar Capital – Varanasi Superfast Express and MEMU service trains between Gandhinagar Capital and Varetha.
The Prime Minister, while addressing the audience, said the Aquatics Gallery built in Science City is one of the top aquariums not only in the country but also in Asia.
The Robotics Gallery will inspire the youth to work in the field of robotics and inculcate curiosity in mind.
The Prime Minister said today, major railway stations across the country are being modernised and even railway in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are now equipped with Wi-Fi facilities. The unmanned railway crossings on broad gauge have been completely eliminated to enhance safety of the people, Mr Modi added.
Due to the efforts of the last few years, trains are reaching the capitals of the North East for the first time, the Prime Minister said.
'Today, Vadnagar has also become a part of this expansion.With the construction of this new broad gauge line, the Vadnagar-Modhera-Patan heritage circuit is now connected with better rail service,' the Prime Minister said.
