A number of owner occupiers recently bought industrial and logistics properties in the Robinhood area of Dublin 12 which were marketed by Agar.
The largest of the properties was No 9 Robinhood Road, a detached premises of 14,920 sq ft with very little yard area, which sold for around €700,000. It was purchased by a local for extra storage.
The vendor, MCC Controls, also sold Nos 3, 5 and 7 Robinhood Business Park – terraced units of about 3,300 sq ft each, of which about 1,000 sq ft was office space and the remainder warehouse space. They sold for €330,000 to €345,000 each.
Agar also sold unit 4 in this block for an owner occupier. Prices ranged between €110 and €120 per square foot and the purchasers were owner occupiers.
Meanwhile, Agar is currently guiding €795,000 for a detached food production facility with plant and equipment in Portlaoise. Unit 5 Clonminam Business Park, comprises a ground floor with reception and retail/wholesale area at front of the building. On its first floor there are offices, staff facilities, conference/board room, storage and comms room accommodation.
It was built in compliance with NSAI good hygiene practices for the food processing industry.
Agent John Agar says the site is well laid-out, with large vehicle access. A further two adjoining acres are for sale at €200,000 an acre.
Features include three temperature-controlled production rooms, blast freezer room, chilled store, cold store, and a mezzanine storage and packaging area.
