Realme Watch 2 Pro India launch set for July 23, Buds Wireless 2 also expected

Realme Watch 2 Pro India launch is taking place on July 23. Amazon has put up a dedicated page for the upcoming Realme Watch 2 Pro and that has revealed the launch date before Realme can do that. The Realme Watch 2 Pro was recently confirmed to arrive in India, but Realme did not provide a particular date for that. Besides, Realme is also likely to announce the Realme Buds Wireless 2 neckband earphones in India.

Both the Realme Watch 2 Pro and the Realme Buds Wireless 2 debuted in Malaysia sometime back. Realme's biggest AIoT expansion took place in Malaysia and now the products that were a part of that are coming to India. Realme has not said much about the India launch of these products yet, but we are likely to find out more in the coming days. Realme recently launched the Buds Q2 truly wireless earbuds in India, alongside new trimmers and a new hairdryer.

Realme Watch 2 Pro and Buds Wireless 2 expected price

In Malaysia, the Realme Watch 2 Pro sells for MYR 299, which translates to roughly Rs 5,300. The Realme Buds Wireless 2, on the other hand, costs MYR 199, which is approximately Rs 3,500. If Realme's previous smartwatches and neckband earphones are anything to go by, the upcoming two models are going to cost less than what these projections suggest. Realme has aggressive pricing for its products in India and that will also come down to the Watch 2 Pro and the Buds Wireless 2.

Realme Watch 2 Pro and Buds Wireless 2 specifications

The Realme Watch 2 Pro comes with an Apple Watch-like design where you have a 1.75-inch colour display using an LCD panel. The screen supports a peak brightness of 600 nits and a resolution of 320x320 pixels. There is a single button on the right side of the smartwatch, probably for navigation to the home screen. The smartwatch runs a custom operating system from Realme. There is IP68 certification for water and dust resistance on the smartwatch. There is a heart rate monitor, an accelerometer, and, obviously, GPS on the smartwatch. Realme gives several workout and exercise modes on the smartwatch to choose from. There are features such as a reminder to drink water at short intervals, a meditation centre, and a sedentary reminder. Backing the Realme Watch 2 Pro is a 390mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 14 days of runtime on a single charge. The Realme Watch 2 Pro uses the Realme Link app for pairing with Android phones and iPhones.

The Realme Buds Wireless 2 is a neckband that comes with support for Sony LDAC codec. The earphones have been designed in collaboration with The Chainsmokers, with whom Realme previously partnered for the Realme Buds Air 2. The neckband supports active noise cancellation, as well as environmental noise cancellation. There is fast charging available, as well, wherein a 10-minute charge can deliver 12 hours of playback, according to Realme.
