Maharashtra: Civil engineer ends life on birthday after testing positive for Covid-19

SANGLI: In an unfortunate incident, a 28-year-old man died by suicide after his Covid-19 report came out to be positive.
The incident took place on Wednesday night in Sangli district.
The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Bhanuse, a civil engineer by profession.
According to Maharashtra Times, the deceased's Covid-19 report had come positive four days ago. Since then, he was not feeling well. Following that, he ended his life on his birthday.
Nikhil had gotten married only three months ago.
His relatives told the police that he ended his life by hanging himself in the animal shed in front of the house.
An accidental death case has been filed at Kurpal police station.
