Rajasthan to receive heavy to very heavy rain in next 2-3 days, IMD issues Orange, Yellow alert

The Meteorological Department has issued a Orange alert for heavy rains in Bharatpur, Alwar, Dausa, Dhaulpur, Karauli, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Tonk, Jaipur, Nagaur, Bikaner and Hanumangarh districts on July 17 and 18

Monsoon brings relief to lakhs of people in the Indian state of Rajasthan, who are in the grip of extreme heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has reached all parts of the state. Now there is a possibility of monsoon coming again in the state from Saturday.

IMD has issued a yellow alert in some parts of the state, while an orange alert has also been issued at some places in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan received heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places and light to moderate rainfall at isolated places during the last 24 hours. Mandavar in Alwar district received the highest rainfall of 110 mm. During the next 24 hours, the department has expressed the possibility of thunder and lightning at some places in Kota, Baran, Sirohi, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Barmer, Pali, Jalore districts.

Lightning warning with light rain has been issued in Bharatpur, Alwar, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jaipur, Barmer and Jalore districts on Thursday and Friday.
