Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 18.44 crore), Suzlon Energy (numbers of share traded: 8.71 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 6.83 crore), Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 6.64 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 5.34 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 3.84 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.21 crore), Wipro (numbers of share traded: 3.11 crore), Ibull Real Estate (numbers of share traded: 3.07 crore) and Bank of Baroda (numbers of share traded: 3.03 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 70.25 points up at 15924.2, while BSE Sensex ended up 254.8 points at 53158.85.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 3.23 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.20 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 0.98 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 0.87 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
