Finnair posts sixth consecutive loss and raises savings target

HELSINKI, July 15 (Reuters) - Finnair on Thursday posted a sixth consecutive quarter of loss as the coronavirus pandemic still kept most of its planes grounded, and said it would raise its annual savings target by 30 million euros to 200 million ($237 million).

The airline reported a quarterly operating loss of 139.1 million euros versus a loss of 171.2 million a year earlier and slightly ahead of the loss of 149.25 million expected by five analysts, Refinitiv Eikon data showed.
