SURAT: A woman, mother of three minor girls, was killed on Wednesday morning after a reckless car driver knocked her down at Gadkhol Patiya in Ankleshwar. Police said that the car driver Swami Gowda, who owns a food cart in Bharuch, rammed his car into Usha Parmar from behind after losing control over the vehicle. Parmar was on her way to her eldest daughter’s school to submit her answer sheets when the accident took place. Eye-witnesses told cops that such was the impact of the hit that Parmar was thrown high in the air. Parmar had suffered severe injuries to her face and her body due to which she died on the spot. After the accident Gowda had fled from the spot but was nabbed later in the afternoon after cops went through footage of CCTV cameras. “Usually, the woman’s husband used to go to their daughter’s school but on Wednesday he was busy,” said sub-inspector Z I Sheikh of Ankleshwar City police station. He added that Parmar and her husband Kanu have three daughters while the youngest one is just six-year-old.
