ReutersNEW DELHI: L&T Tech (Rs. 1965.75 crore), Wipro (Rs. 1779.16 crore), Infosys (Rs. 1585.10 crore), Happiest Minds (Rs. 1480.98 crore), L&T (Rs. 1455.69 crore), HCL Tech (Rs. 1309.18 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 1210.45 crore), L&T Infotech (Rs. 1122.55 crore), Just Dial (Rs. 931.21 crore) and RIL (Rs. 909.85 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 70.25 points up at 15924.2, while BSE Sensex rose 254.8 points to 53158.85.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 5.08 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 4.19 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.15 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 2.53 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.50 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 3.23 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.20 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 0.98 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 0.87 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.80 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
