Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 8,010 fresh cases, 170 deaths

Mumbai, Jul 15 (UNI) Maharashtra on Thursday reported 8,010 fresh Covid-19 patients and 170 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 61,89,257 and the toll to 1,26,560, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 7,391 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 59,52,192.
The state's recovery rate slipped to 96.17 per cent and the fatality rate stood at 2.04 per cent.
There are now 1,07,205 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.
