Moment gang of robbers beat men in the Bronx with a CINDER BLOCK and plastic crates before escaping with $450 in brazen attack

Two men ended up in a hospital after they were beat with a cinder block and a plastic crate during a robbery in the Bronx on July 7.
The attack was caught on video at 3.10am in front of 585 Southern Blvd. in the Woodstock section of the Bronx, according to the New York Police Department.

Meanwhile, two other men knock down the older victim, kicking him in the head and body and striking him repeatedly with a plastic crate.
The trio fled with the older man's wallet, which contained $450.
The victims were taken to Lincoln Medical Center with pain and bruising, but were listed in stable condition.
The trio of attackers had still not been identified as of Sunday morning.
Overall crime in New York City rose by 3 percent last month compared to June 2020, according to statistics released by the NYPD.
The rise was driven by a 32.3 percent increase in grand larceny (3,123 vs. 2,361), a 31.2 percent increase in grand larceny auto (921 vs. 702) and a 16 percent increase in robbery (1,121 vs. 966).
Murders and shootings, however, declined compared to the same time last year.
