Openreach to bring broadband to Torbay under GBP 18 mln investment plan

Openreach has started work on bringing full-fibre broadband to Torbay, with a planned investment of GBP 18 million. The push is part of Openreache's GBP 15 billion programme to upgrade the UK's broadband network. Under the project, fibre cables will run directly from the Openreach exchange into homes and businesses. The new network has already reached over 20,000 premises across the Bay.
