If you are following Twitter news for the past few months, you must be well aware that there are a lot of things happening at the microblogging giant headquarters. The team has already begun the account verification process and is also working on a number of different features. Now, we have new leaks revealing some more features and changes planned for the future.
The first feature that has been spotted is Twitter for Professionals. As the name suggests, it is aimed at those users who use the platform for professional purposes. It seems like the option will be available within the settings. It will allow users to choose their profession from a list with options like Automotive, Aviation, Event Venue, Education, Entertainment & Recreation, and Commercial & Industrial.
There is also a choice between Business and Creator for selecting the account type. The second one is for people who are content creators, public figures, and influencers. It is unknown whether Twitter for Professionals account holders will also get some additional functionalities, something different from personal account settings and features. We do know that Instagram offers some extra tools including a dashboard to professional account users.

The second feature is related to giving users the ability to mute direct messages. It will get applied automatically whenever a user will mute any account. All messages from muted accounts will be listed at the bottom of the conversation window. This is to ensure that you do not see those messages right away.
As we say all spotted features, it is up to the company when and if to release them to the public. We will have to wait until Twitter shares any official statement regarding these features.
