Enjoy another rain-free day while it lasts because storms are rolling into Greater Cincinnati overnight.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night but the bigger stoms will come this weekend. The National Weather Service said heavy rain will lead to the potential for localized flooding Friday and Saturday.

"Warm and humid conditions will continue into this weekend," forecasters said. "Showers and thunderstorms will become numerous Friday into this weekend as the slow moving front is forecast to cross the Ohio Valley."

The area could see thunder mainly during the late evening hours on Friday.

Multiple waves of showers are expected starting overnight Friday into Saturday as the cold front moves eastward toward the Ohio Valley.

Heavy downpours still remain one of the primary concerns Friday night into Saturday, which could lead to localized flooding, forecasters said. Rain will linger into Sunday.
