The NSE Nifty index traded 58.45 points up at 15912.4, while BSE Sensex was up 220.73 points at 53124.78 as of 10:44AM (IST) on July 15.
In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 4.24 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 4.00 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.99 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (up 2.98 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 3.06 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.16 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.00 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (down 0.70 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 0.65 per cent) were among the top losers.
