Bodies of nine fishermen were recovered this morning from the trawler capsized near Bakkhali in South 24 Pargana district in West Bengal. One fisherman is still missing. All the deceased and missing fishermen belong to Namkhana of the district.
The trawler, with ten fishermen on board overturned near Rakteshwari in the Bay of Bengal yesterday. Coast Guard Dronier hovercraft marked the trawler in the afternoon. Later, the capsized trawler was pulled by 12 fishing trawlers.
